Meet the Coaches

Brian Scapardine


Brian has been a travel softball coach for 7 years. This is his 1st year with p3 and he is looking forward to joining our team. He is a graduate of St. Rita High School and St. Xavier University. Brian lives in Crestwood with his wife, Jackie, and 3 children Madison, Michelle, and Mason. He also coaches soccer, baseball, volleyball, and works for Coca-Cola when he is not on the softball diamond.

Amber Buss


Amber was a four year varsity starter at Tinley Park High School. She was a part of Tinley Park’s first ever Regional Championship team in 2009 and was awarded All Conference. She moved on to play at Prairie State for 2 years where she was awarded All Conference and All Region and Robert Morris for 2 years where she studied Exercise Science. She ended her travel career with the New Lenox Lightning who became metro champions that year.

Nicole Babrowski


Nicole started playing softball at the age of 7 and instantly fell in love. She was a part of the travel teams of Bull Sox and Beverly Bandits Conroy. Nicole attended Marist High School where she helped the team to their first 4A state title in school history. She continued her softball career as a 4 year starter at the University of North Dakota as a utility player, where she received All-Conference Honors among other accomplishments. Nicole graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and hopes to start her own business someday.

Ali Bagley


Ali is a former softball player of 17 years. She attended Minooka Community High School where she was a part of the state championship team in 2013. Ali continued her softball career at the collegiate level at Robert Morris University. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and hopes to pursue a law degree. Throughout her career she was notably selected as a player on the All-American team as well as World Series MVP.

Katie Houlihan


Katie Houlihan is the Director of p3 Softball. She has been an Assistant Softball Coach from 14U – 18U for 3 years and is currently the Assistant Softball Coach for p3 16U. Katie currently lives in Tinley Park and attended Lincoln-Way North High School. She graduated from Saint Xavier University with a Psychology major and Sociology minor and played softball all four years there. Katie currently attends Governors State University for graduate school and hopes to obtain her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. When she is not coaching, she is a Service Coordinator in Early Intervention at Easter Seals. Katie enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, coaching, and relaxing!

Patrick Regan


Patrick Regan is a long-time travel coach that has coached from 12U -18U. He is currently a 16U Head Coach. Patrick is a NAYS (National Alliance of Youth Sports Certified Instructor) and an USA Softball ACE Certified Coach. Patrick is married with 3 Daughters 12,19 and 22 and lives in Palos Park, IL. When not coaching, Patrick is a Director of Commercial Construction for a local Real Estate Developer.

Abbey Regan


Abbey Regan has been with Power for many years and completed her final season on the 18u team in the summer of 2016. Abbey attended Amos Alonzo Stagg High School where she played on Varsity for four years. Abbey now attends Illinois State University studying Physical Education Teacher Education. There she plays on the ISU Club Softball team. Her main position is catcher and she also plays corner infield positions.

Meghan Pelehac


Meghan Pelehac has played travel softball since she was 10. She started off with the Oak Lawn Diamonds then Mokena Blue Wave and then played for Power for 2 years. Meghan went to Mother McAuley where she also played. Meghan now attends Ball State University studying Biology/Pre-Med. There she plays on their intramural team. Her main position is short stop and third.
